What will I be doing?

• Leadership of a team of delivery managers: driving innovation and excellence in this practice area and supporting the wider platform in a consultative sense. 
• Management of the portfolio of programmes and workstreams across the platform; tracking and reporting the health of each, restoring to health any that are at risk, and maintaining appropriate work-in-progress limits to ensure quality and timeliness of delivery.
• Ensuring that all active programmes ladder up to company objectives to provide confidence to the leadership team that we have autonomous alignment throughout the organisation.
• Platform roadmap: Maintain an evergreen all-platform roadmap which draws on team and squad documentation and the programme portfolio.

• Programme and project management - highly capable in forming, delivering, and closing major business and technology change particularly in a highly Agile environment.
• Management and leadership - previous experience managing and inspiring a team
• Problem solving - will approach obstacles from all possible angles to create a solution.
• Team mobilisation - able to rapidly bring people together around a common objective and provide clear roles and responsibilities.
• Goal oriented - constantly assesses the validity of the goal, and reaffirms absolute focus on achievement of the goal
• Exceptional communication - able to communicate across the entire hierarchy of the business, from report to the executive teams to working with engineers on specific issues and everything in between.
• Dutiful - a strong sense of what is right for the customer, the company, and colleagues which drives effective judgement and decision making.
• Empathy - able to understand the motivations and concerns of others, and work with people to achieve the best possible result.
