About Ethiopian and Eritrean Cultural and Resource Center

The Ethiopian and Eritrean Cultural and Resource Center (EECRC) has a mission to empower Ethiopians, Eritreans, and other African refugees and immigrants by providing culturally appropriate services and resources that promote self-sufficiency, integration, and success. Our vision is to create a thriving and supportive community that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and fosters success for all. We strive to accomplish this by providing access to education, healthcare, employment, housing, legal services, and other essential resources that help community members to integrate into their new culture and system. We also advocate for social justice and equity, and work in partnership with other organizations to address the systemic issues that impact the communities we serve.

EECRC is well-positioned to make a significant contribution to climate change mitigation and environmental sustainability. Our environmental department is actively expanding its programs, operational capacity, and collaborative partnerships. We have achieved substantial growth and successfully carried out a number of new projects that address the needs and concerns of our community. Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including environmental education, restoration, the adoption of clean energy solutions, and the promotion of green job opportunities.
