Stillwater Energy LLC (Stillwater) is seeking a Fellow to support delivery of several utility funded, behavior-based programs throughout the west coast. A successful candidate will bring excellent written communication skills and an eye for detail to ensure that project deliverables and other related materials are of a high level. The ideal candidate will have previous professional work experience. Most of this position’s work is remote, supporting customers in the Western US and Canada. Occasional travel (<10%) required to support onsite activities and to connect with other Stillwater team members.

Primary Responsibilities

Writing/Editing

  • Ability to format, design and edit documents and reports in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Create first drafts of papers, reports, correspondence, and other documents for iteration with project teams.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control

  • Review and refine deliverables for errors and improvements to language and readability. 
  • Review data for accuracy.
  • Support maintenance of electronic project documentation and file structures on SharePoint and other repositories.

Project Support

  • General project work, including reporting, tracking and forms processing, to be done within budget and timeframes.
  • Conduct basic research for internal and client projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams to support deliverables as required by clients.
  • Support internal and external meetings, in-person workshops, and virtual web conferences.
  • Attend project meetings, take meeting notes, and prepare meeting summaries.
  • Support operational and administrative initiatives for the company.
  • Professionally and courteously communicate with employees, clients, and customers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and other sensitive information.

Additional Duties

  • Support client satisfaction.

  • Continually learn and develop your own individual journey in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Support growth of fellow employees in DEI.
  • Support sustainability and safety initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
  • Experience working comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with complex processes and tasks with multiple phases.
  • Interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and cooperation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Strong collaboration skills. Interact well with others; ability to find areas of mutual interest and establish and build relationships with others. 
  • Flexible and productive. Ability to juggle multiple tasks; effective at moving things forward independently without supervision; and productive when working with other team members.

Bonus Points

• Fluency with SmartSheet and PowerBI.

• Spanish or Russian Speaking.

• Sense of humor.

• Knowledge of and/or interest in sustainability and/or energy efficiency.

A day in the life 

To being the day, you join the team for a quick web-based standing huddle. Your morning is a productive combination of customer webcam calls across the Pacific Northwest as well as brainstorms with internal team members on new engagement approaches. In the afternoon, you review and design energy engagement tools and as well as review customer reports to ensure that they are clear and that they drive action. After a productive week, you join the team on an internal training on a new software tool or on technical systems.
