We have the pleasure of working with technology industry leaders from early specification to wide market adoption.You will work with multiple teams within our engineering team and across departments, including Product Management, Sales, Application engineering, Operations and Validation teams. Through hands-on learning, studying technical specifications, interacting with peers and end-users, and mentoring, you will extend your expertise in serial data protocols and in our instruments that test and validate these protocols, enabling you to be part of a leading expert team in this field.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead the application development involving GUI design and SW/HW integration of our products.</li><li>Take part in and lead the full software development life cycle.</li><li>Be an active contributor in an agile, multi-disciplinary team to design and implement software for complex and high performance systems.</li><li>Work with our Customer Support team and with customers directly to achieve and maintain customer delight.</li><li>Mentor team members.</li><li>Breakdown the tasks for the team.</li><li>Coordinate and prioritize deliveries with stakeholders.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Demonstrated expertise developing software for embedded platforms in Qt and C++ (typically 7+ years of experience). </li><li>Linux multi-threaded development experience is required.</li><li>UX experience is must.</li><li>3+ years of significant Qt and QML experience.</li><li>Excellent software engineering skills including architectural definition, task identification, design, implementation, and test – from concept through maintenance.</li><li>Must be comfortable working with hardware development engineers and interfacing to custom hardware devices, including interrupt driven interfaces.</li><li>A background using an efficient development process for high quality deliverables is needed.</li><li>Strong commitment to teamwork and good communication skills.</li><li>BSCS, BSCE, or BSEE degree.</li></ul>Preferred Skills/Experience:<ul><li>Experience programming with Java, and/or Python.</li><li>Linux kernel-level experience.</li><li>Network/TCP/IP protocol experience.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
