Job Summary:

As a Senior Manager, Central Operations at Veo, you’ll play a critical role in aligning various departments with the company's strategic vision, leading, and identifying initiatives that drive operations efficiency and identifying levers for revenue growth and cost reduction. The idea candidate will have a passion for hands-on management, coupled the ability to convert strategy to execution. Reporting to the VP, Operations, you will play an integral role in enabling Veo to scale. This role will have a hybrid work schedule with three days working in our headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team that designs, implements and maintains processes, systems, mechanisms and tools to maximize field operations productivity, safety and engagement.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations, actively engaging with field teams to ensure seamless execution and address operational challenges in real-time.
  • Act as a business owner, transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes.

  • Define, launch and drive strategic and analytical initiatives to improve customer experience, improve internal and external facing operational processes, working closely with cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Identify gaps, deep dive to root cause and propose changes to existing standard work, systems, and frameworks that drive operational efficiency and cost reduction. 
  • Develop scalable solutions, work to manage operational risks across the organization, and develop best practices that are a benefit across the organization.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities, develop, and present plans to key stakeholders. 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Operations Strategy, Operations, or Operations Excellence role
  • B.S. in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance or Related Degree. MBA is a plus. 
  • Strong hands-on management experience, with a proven ability to work directly with field teams to implement and oversee operational improvements at the ground level.
  • Experience managing and leading operations teams across multiple locations
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and implementation abilities
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Experience in project and OKR management
  • Excellent communication skills. Comfortable developing and presenting reports
  • Experience or desire to work in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Thrives in a heavily multifunctional work environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Excited about getting immersed in field operations and firsthand identifying opportunities and implementing new processes

The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits. Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $150,500 to $180,000 per year. While this is our expected range, bonuses for this role are designed to have unlimited upside potential, so additional earning opportunities may be available. 

Note: Veo benefit, bonus and stock programs may be subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and performance.
