Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

You’ll be working as part of the Resourcing Partnerships team at OVO Energy where our key focus is to place the customer at the heart of everything we do. What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Senior Contract Lead, the Contract support role requires you to fulfil many functions of Contract Management and performance analysis to support the delivery of major outsourcing, offshoring and repatriation projects valued at up to £5m. Being a fast learner, having the ability to build excellent relationships right from the off, understanding when to dive into the details and when to challenge the business to guide on key decisions and activities will be integral to this role.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that Care, Collections, Sales and back office departments for all parts of the Ovo group suffer no disruption to our customers. You will work alongside the Senior Contract Manager to ensure that all aspects of contract and compliance delivery are considered and met; delivering at speed but never compromising on quality; bringing the best of OVO's dedicated individuals together to mobilise highly effective delivery; championing a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Senior Contract Manager with the administration, negotiation and management of supplier contracts
  • Assisting with the contractual management of complex projects that span multiple lines of business
  • Conduct compliance activities that lead to successful project delivery from initiation to deployment for several projects simultaneously
  • Lead and build monthly audit insights with multiple external partners and follow up of actions with stakeholders
  • Proofread, edit and fact check legal documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain accurate Data Protection Impact Assessments across a range of partners
  • Support the wider project with risk management appraisal, strategy and insight
  • Support with creation of process documentation across the Resourcing Partnerships project
  • Build a culture of success throughout the organisation
  • Working with external partners throughout the globe in order to build and manage relationships

  • Outstanding people leadership skills
  • Talent in communication to effectively build and retain strong and credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all management levels and tailoring the communication approach accordingly
  • Behaviours which are influential, tactful and persistent with partners to achieve the desired outcome
  • A Drive and a talent to get things done in large complex organisations
