Where in the world of OVO will I be working? 

You will be a member of the Energy Solutions Project Admin Team. Energy Solutions are a part of the OVO family and assist the business in meeting the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), as well as other Energy Efficiency funding initiatives. We achieve this by fitting Energy Efficiency measures such as insulation, renewables and new heating systems to domestic properties across the UK. The Project Admin Team is an integral part of the business, assisting departments throughout a project during the survey, installation and submission stages of an Energy Efficiency measure.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Project Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of a number of projects. 

The roles key responsibilities include:

  • Updating and managing customer data within each project master tracker.
  • Assisting Sales and the Client with Gas Connections and Meter arrangements.
  • Creating weekly and monthly reports to distribute to the wider Energy Solutions team, Clients and third party Contractors. 
  • Work with the Assurance Team to answer customer queries. 
  • Supporting the Energy Company Obligation submission team.
  • Assisting Commercial, Operations and Assurance functions to ensure the same high level customer journey and customer expectations are met.

Is this the job for me? 

The role will require excellent communication skills in order to help transition jobs through the job cycle liaising with the team, other departments, and with contractors and clients. 

Ideally you will have:

  • An understanding of the Energy Company Obligation
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and Google Suite experience
  • Robust communication skills 
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to learn the energy efficiency markets
  • Flexible approach to daily work patterns 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence and initiative to be a great problem solver
