Position Summary

The Manager, Production Planning and Fulfillment role is an integral part of the Manufacturing organization with the responsibility for driving material flow requirements to ensure production schedule readiness and  achieve customer fulfillment targets. The position will plan production, issue manufacturing work orders, and coordinate with our Supply Chain team on the flow materials to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales. The Manager, Production Planning and Fulfillment, will influence management and department decisions and will participate in long term planning discussions. The responsibilities include monitoring Clear to Build signals, closely monitoring the Material Resource Planning (MRP) and Production processes, regularly providing production status updates to management, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers. The Manager, Production Planning and Fulfillment will be an integral part of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Process (SIOP) and assist in tactical and long-term business decisions .If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, go ahead, and apply today.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The position requires exceptional materials management skills and planning expertise in a dynamic and fast paced environment, with a deep understanding of procurement, planning, and supply chain.
  • Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain, Logistics, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Use data analytics to identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Find opportunities to streamline processes and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks using data analytics.
  • Monitor the Production schedule and identify risks and delays.
  • Develop data-driven contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
  • Monitor BOM changes and ensure all changes are identified and loaded accurately across operating systems such as ERP and MES.
  • Manage build schedule shortages impacting CTB (clear to build) and work with materials support team on supply risk mitigation.
  • Consolidate results and provide updates to cross functional teams on material status for all assigned builds.
  • Manage fulfillments of products to end-customers.
  • Run review meetings with internal teams to align build schedules.
  • Prepare and communicate critical materials availability updates to cross functional leadership teams; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on agreed cadence.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP / MRP demand planning and forecasting tools, along with strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
  • Experience working with Bill of Materials and PLM systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven experience in materials planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and advanced Excel skills.

Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CA

Salary Range:  $175,000 USD - $195,000 USD

Salary Basis:  Annual

The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position.
