ABTC is seeking a Senior Materials Program Manager. This is a crucial and strategic role at the company as we start ramping facilities across the United States. This is a leadership opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on our ability to ramp up our incredible recycled products.


ABOUT THE JOB
Our Senior Materials Program Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our factories' material strategies and plans. Our MPM team is the leader for all flow of materials at ABTC and is the liaison between Operations, Manufacturing, Program Manager(s), Business Development and the Supply Chain organization. You are also responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of all program material strategies, supporting supply chain, and enterprise objectives. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and influence the overall objectives and long-range goals of the engineering, programs, and operations.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Manage the Clear to Build (CTB) and Materials Risk Release process for both our battery recycling and lithium extraction processes for both sustaining and new products
·         Develop the material management strategy to support our manufacturing facilities
·         Responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy of the MRP, materials planning and inventory at all of ABTC’s facilities
·         Partner with Supply and Demand Planners to identify the long-term forecast and prepare long lead-time materials and forecasts.
·         Represent material supply program status during executive and daily build reviews.
·         Create allocation strategies for constrained materials by developing models across factories, programs, and lines of business.
·         Creates, manages, and executes material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).
·         Overall ownership of the flow of material spanning from our suppliers, logistics providers, incoming receiving, inventory, quarantine / quality areas, the manufacturing line, staging, and at the customers.
·         Development of material flow metrics, supporting international issues of materials, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc with respect to material handling.
·         Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans based on material status and flow to meet program objectives.
·         Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create common schedules.
·         Monitor and proactively act to address performance and financial metrics related to cost, schedule, and quality.
·         Responsible for financial tasks related to material, including developing and tracking budgets, targets, working capital, initiating & maintaining accurate forecasts to support cross-functional teams such as short-range outlooks (SRO) and long-term forecasts (LTF)
·         Flow down Program Requirements and Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers, including risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum required qualifications:
·         BA/BS degree required
·         Work experience as a Materials Planner / Materials Program Manager in Supply Chain
·         10+ years of experience with inventory management practices and procedures
·         Ability to translate data into high-level analysis.
·         Advanced experience in Excel/Google Sheets
·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including great presentations
·         Vast knowledge in SAP system
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
·         Ability to stand for prolonged periods of up to 6 hrs. a day.
·         Ability to walk throughout the plant. Ability to bend at the waist.
·         Ability to lift unassisted 50lbs and assisted over 50 lbs.+ assisted.
·         Must have 20/20 or corrected vision.
·         Ability to perform repetitive duties.
