Role Summary
As In-house Developer (all genders), you play a key role in the ongoing optimization of our Odoo software. Working closely with our Odoo Specialist, you will develop new modules, features, and models, while also supporting users with Odoo-related inqueries, bug reports, and more. Job Details
  • Reports to: Odoo Specialist
  • Department: INT IT
  • Weekly hours: 20-40
  • Location: Berlin or Germany remote
Responsibilities
  • Further develop our Python-based codebase in close collaboration with the Odoo Specialist, including the creation of new modules, reports, and views to display our V-Label KPIs
  • Collaborate with IT system administrators and the V-Label team
  • Apply updates for both the software and Linux distribution
  • Provide user support for Odoo-related queries
  • Actively contribute to the planning and execution of sprints (small-scale Scrum)
  • Participate in setting quarterly goals for our Odoo project
Qualifications
Required:
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field, an equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of Python and Git
  • Experience with a common Linux distribution
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Fluent in both German and English
Preferred:
  • Experience with software project implementation and best practices, including GDPR compliance
  • Familiarity with Odoo Accounting and the Odoo Invoice Model
  • Experience with the Odoo front- and back-end framework
  • Proficiency in developing efficient code
  • Familiarity with XML and JavaScript
  • Professional experience in web development
  • Initial experience with German accounting practices
