SEI is partnering with a diverse group of organizations to develop an Oregon Climate Equity Project (Project) to help diversify the climate movement in the State and strengthen BIPOC leadership in climate policy advocacy and development. The Project seeks to help achieve these goals through the work of Climate Corps Fellows placed with key nonprofit and public sector organizations throughout the State.
The Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) unites Asians and Pacific Islanders to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity through organizing, advocacy, community development, and cultural work. The Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) Fellow will work closely with the Advocacy Director and will be responsible for shaping APANO’s environmental justice strategy. This will include:
