AP Accountant (global head office)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable (A/P) professional to join our Corporate Accounting team at Aliaxis’ headquarters in Brussels.

Job description

• Manage the entire A/P cycle, including invoice approval workflow, posting of A/P invoices, follow-up of overdue balances, supplier payments, and bookkeeping of bank statements.
• Monitor and process expense reports.
• Prepare VAT returns and contribute to various ad-hoc projects within the team, including process improvements.

The role is based in our modern global head office in an easily accessible location in Brussel, with flexible remote working options.

Requirements   

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Several years of AP experience, with knowledge of BE GAAP and BE VAT.
• Experience with international transactions and intra-community VAT principles.
• Proficiency in working with an ERP system (ideally SAP4H and Concur).
• Strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work autonomously with a can-do mindset.
• Comfortable in an international, English-speaking environment.
