Job Summary
As a Replenishment Planner, you will play a meaningful role in optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the uninterrupted availability of products within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse demand patterns, monitor inventory levels, and develop replenishment strategies to meet customer demands efficiently. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to improving supply chain efficiency, minimizing costs, and improving sales opportunities. We are seeking a highly analytical and thorough professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide strategic insights to drive continuous improvement.
Principal Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Review inventory levels, stock movement, and product lifecycle to ensure efficient stock levels are maintained. Identify slow-moving or obsolete products and propose appropriate actions to minimize excess inventory and associated costs.
- Replenishment Strategy: Develop and implement replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts, sales projections, and lead times. Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and apply data visualization tools to present key inventory and replenishment insights to partners. Find opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and revenue growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, to align demand and supply plans. Provide inputs on new product launches, promotions, and seasonal variations to optimize inventory planning.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, standard methodologies, and new technologies related to replenishment and inventory management. Proactively propose and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & experience
- University degree with a specialty in Supply Chain, Computers, Data Analytics or Engineering field.
- Other useful credentials and training include CPIM and Lean manufacturing.
- 3+ year of relevant supply chain experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing or CPG environment; or relevant transferable skills and experience
- Strong analytical ability, good judgement, and problem-solving skills
- Customer centric, with the drive for results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to interpret large amounts of data; high attention to detail
- Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI desirable
- Ability to work independently, and as a team player
- Adept at working in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with supply planning software desirable (especially SAP-IBP)
