About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in driving new customer growth. Working with our global Sales, Marketing, Event, and Business Development teams, you will ensure AMPECO reaches its growth targets in North America. Your job will be to own a number and achieve our growth targets.

Responsibilities
- Make The Number
- Be creative, organized, strategic, diligent, persuasive, persistent, or whatever works for you, but we expect you to achieve your bookings target. We want you to wake up in the morning thinking about how to make the number, and go to sleep thinking about making the number. Everything else on this list is in support of that responsibility
- Go-to-market Planning and Execution
- Identify appropriate target accounts and EV operating model segments
- Develop and implement plans for key accounts, leveraging ABM and outbound capabilities
- Pipeline Development
- Source opportunities through your network and the company's ecosystem of partners
- Attend and maximize events through meetings and pre-show outreach
- Relationship Development
- Expand the company's reach throughout the ecosystem, building company presence in the industry
- Identify areas for market development and increased investment
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders on strategy, sales operations, and opportunity management
About you
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
- Demonstrated experience in sales/business development roles in the EV charging ecosystem is required; certain roles in adjacent industries, such as consulting in an EV practice area, will also be considered advantage
- Software/SaaS experience preferred
- CPO/eMPS/CPMS experience preferred

- Comfortable with outreach to prospects and partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to discover and understand prospect needs, then align our value proposition effectively
- Disciplined daily activities to stay on top of active conversations and meet every deadline
