About the position
Now we are looking for a motivated IT Engineer. In this position, you will work as part of the Cloud & Infrastructure Department on initiative planning, performance tuning and support for existing networks, and IT support for the local teams. The Cloud & Infrastructure department is responsible for ensuring our Cloud and IT infrastructure reliably and scalably supports the needs of our products and teams. They are responsible for the AWS Cloud infrastructure which hosts the main products of the company, our local data centre, IT services for use by our employees, and the networks and communication with our IoT devices installed onboard the vessels. They liaise with all stakeholders of our infrastructure, understand needs, design and develop improvements and resolve issues and queries that arise.
Job Requirements
1-2 years of IT experience
Performing network maintenance
Enterprise Windows administration (AD, Security Policies)
Experience on Linux OS
Basic knowledge of networks
Good planning, organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Professional and customer-oriented attitude
The ideal candidate will have:
BSc in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or any relevant field
