The role
We鈥檙e looking for a Product Manager to build our pricing engine. As a platform that matches demand and supply, our dynamic pricing is used to balance the marketplace and improve utilization for our charging partners. For users, price is a critical factor and influences conversion, usage frequency, and retention. This role will own the pricing engine and incentive budget with the goal of optimizing ROI.
You will report to and work closely with Jay Menon, Head of Product.

You will be responsible for
Pricing product strategy
Define how price is set for charging stations and users
Design experiments to test financial incentives in order to improve conversion and retention
Develop dynamic pricing models to maximize conversion, usage and margin.
Competitor Analysis
System design
Define how tariff, cost and price is stored and calculated in our databases
Create tools/dashboards for internal users to view and make adjustments
Incentive budget deployment
Define and measure price elasticity of users
Work with finance on incentive budget and impact on margin
Run experiments to optimize spend ROI
Qualifications/skills:
Experience in product management, or pricing strategy preferably in a marketplace, airline, payments or energy-related industry
Strong understanding of pricing models, elasticity, and behavioral economics
Experience with data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and working with large datasets
Comfort with SQL, analytics tools (R, Tableau, Looker, etc.), and basic statistical analysis
Passion for the problem you will be solving
Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Denver
