Supply Chain Program Manager

Location: Shanghai area or Taiwan

The Supply Chain Program Manager will drive supplier development and project management efforts across APAC to support new product introductions (NPI) and mass production initiatives. This role requires strategic sourcing acumen, robust supplier quality engineering capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure suppliers meet the highest standards for quality, reliability, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers aligned with the APAC sourcing strategy, initiating NDAs to ensure confidentiality.
  • Leverage strong quality engineering expertise to collaborate with the Quality team, conducting rigorous supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement supplier improvement plans as needed to address quality issues or enhance production capabilities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to APAC suppliers to monitor performance, assess quality systems, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Establish and maintain proactive quality control measures, monitoring suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Partner with application engineers, supply chain analysts, and commodity managers to support NPI builds, ensuring adherence to design revisions and expedited delivery timelines.
  • Oversee the mass production ramp-up with APAC suppliers, collaborating closely with U.S. teams to achieve seamless integration and quality compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to arrange supplier visits and minimize unnecessary international travel.
  • Engage with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive supplier readiness, quality assurance, and compliance with production standards.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on supplier quality engineering, supplier development, and project management.
  • Proven experience working in the APAC region, with knowledge of local supplier landscapes and quality systems.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication skills to interface across teams and suppliers.
