Located in Northern California, the team at Joby Aviation is driven by our goal of creating an affordable, all-electric air transportation system. Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We鈥檝e designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We鈥檙e looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.
Overview
As an Executive Assistant in Joby鈥檚 fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for providing personal and administrative support to the Chief Product Officer and the Chief Hardware Officer as well as their respective teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, a strong communicator, and highly organized. The key to your success is the ability to adapt to ever-changing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate executive daily calendars and plan appointments and events with internal and external participants
- Facilitate internal communication and lead ad hoc assignments, commensurate with a operations of a nimble start-up environment
- Book travel for the executive team and, on occasion, important guests
- Lead timely and accurate completion of expense reports
- Host visitors and support onboarding of new team members
- Assist with meeting and event planning
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- 3+ Years experience working with C-Level Executives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Experience with complex domestic and international travel
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
- Impeccable organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Positive attitude and works well with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Current driver鈥檚 license and reliable transportation
- High school degree or equivalent

Additional Information
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $102,008 to $136,010 per year salary. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
