Senior Network Engineer

This role has accountability for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and security solutions

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Cloud networking and Cloud VoIP systems. 
• Develop and implement network design and architecture strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability. 
• Design and implement network segmentation to enhance security and performance. 
• Configure and manage routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. 
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. – 
• Work with Factory Engineering Leaders on Industry 4.0 & Automation Network design 
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate measures and protocols. 
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference. 

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, Cloud networking, Cloud VoIP, network design and architecture, and network segmentation design and implementation. 
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. 
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
• Proven track record of successful project implementations.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks.
• Knowledge of OT security principles and IoT security best practices.
