Our Operations Team

Our Operations team is the beating heart of our business. The team is responsible for the onboarding and implementation of our technology across new customers, as well as ensuring ongoing success once the system is up and running on client sites. The goal – successful pilots with early clients, such that they quickly become key clients deploying our technology on a national and international scale.

Our Shared Services sits within the Global Operations team and plays a critical part in ensuring the successful implementation of our systems and monitoring their ongoing performance. By standardizing and consolidating administrative processes, the Shared Services team will ultimately serve as the internal Administrative arm of Winnow globally.  

The Shared Services team is a growing team and is likely to keep expanding as the organisation strives forward in achieving its ambitious goals.

Our Shared Services Internship Intern Programme

Participating in the intern programme at Winnow isn’t about taking a back seat. You’ll be getting involved at the heart of some of our key strategic projects and will have a voice which will be listened to.

Our summer intern programme lasts for 10 weeks and you’ll spend your time learning how to use Winnow’s wide range of tools to be able to provide agility, flexibility and operational support to the Global Operations Team, Marketing and Business Development. Full training will be provided. At the end of the summer, we would hope you have demonstrated all the skills needed to join the team on a permanent basis, which depending on your year of studies will either be on a full-time basis from September, or on a part-time basis if you are returning to university to complete your studies.

Requirements

Your role

Supporting our clients, you’ll ensure their systems are set up correctly and are then running as expected to help them deliver their food waste goals.

More specifically the role will involve:

-Acting as a bridge between clients and the Customer Success Team to ensure smooth operations.

-Running bespoke reports requested by clients in Excel, Google Sheets, Slides presentations.

-Uploading and updating relevant menus for new and existing customers, so that the system is able to accurately identify what has been thrown in the bin

-Analyzing and manipulating Food Waste, Savings data in Excel, Google Sheets, and Winnow’s BI platform.

-Escalating and investigating common issues with the Customer Support team related to menus, data discrepancies etc.

-Ensuring systems and reports are correctly configured in the Winnow database.

-Providing administrative support for large-scale deployments.

-Supporting ad-hoc projects as needed.

About you

You thrive on problem-solving, have strong communication skills, and are highly detail-oriented. Prior experience with Excel and data manipulation is preferred but not required. No software experience is required.
