Sweep is hiring an experienced, strategic and hands-on VP to lead our Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations teams in Paris. As a key member of the executive team, directly reporting to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the structuration – organisation – financial health and operational efficiency of our company.


You will define, develop and manage financial plans to support our growth plan, to cover and monitor risks, to ensure compliance, oversee financial analytics, legal options, sales operations and provide strategic advice to the C-staff and leadership team throughout the company.

Backed by rapid growth and international VC funds, an expanding customer base, and increasing market share, we need a VP Finance who understands the complexities of high-growth SaaS model, including financial planning, financial data analytics and budgeting, pricing strategy, enterprise sales operations and related legal problematics as well as communication with investors. Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?


Your role will be to ensure we have the financial discipline, operational rigor, and risk management needed to scale. This is not a back-office role – we need an operational VP who can partner with GTM (Go-to-Market) teams, support enterprise sales, engage with investors, organize and optimize our financial strategy for hypergrowth. You will lead a 10+ people team, to date.


To be more specific, this includes:


1. Financial Planning & Management

  • Develop and lead financial plans/forecasting to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
  • Determine investment strategies by assessing cash and liquidity risks.
  • Control and evaluate fundraising plans and capital structure.
  • Supervise all financial tasks to ensure optimal utilization of capital and resources.
  • Maintain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act proactively to mitigate risks.
  • Challenge business decisions based on financial recommendations & risk measurement.
  • Ensure cash flow is optimized for smooth operational functioning.
  • Guarantee compliance with financial laws, tax regulations, and company policies.


2. Financial Data Analytics & Budgeting

  • Oversee the preparation and execution of budgets.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and economic trends to enhance financial performance.
  • Analyze internal operations and implement cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they are up-to-date on a monthly basis.
  • Lead financial statutory audits and ensure adherence to accounting best practices.
  • Monitor bank deposits, payments, and financial transactions.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and address issues promptly.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet and p&l analysis.
  • Own and optimize Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and Cash Management functions.


3. Financial Advisory & Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Provide expert financial advice to the CEO and Co-Founders on tax, investment, and insurance matters.
  • Own and optimize our financial strategy, business model, and unit economics to support profitable growth.
  • Define and monitor key SaaS metrics (ARR, LTV/CAC, churn, gross margins, NRR, ASP, etc.).
  • Build and manage a world-class finance team, implementing best practices for FP&A, accounting, tax, and compliance.
  • Monitor financial markets and economic conditions to inform decision-making.
  • Assess operational performance and align financial strategy with corporate objectives.
  • Participate in and lead key strategic projects, both locally and globally.
  • Support the development of financial strategies for our international expansion in key markets (including the USA).
  • Be a proactive force in scaling the company’s financial processes and infrastructure.


4. Sales Operations & GTM Enablement

  • Partner with CRO and Sales & Partnership Leaders to optimize sales efficiency, pricing models, and revenue operations.
  • Oversee commission structures, forecasting accuracy, deal desk approvals, and enterprise contract negotiations.
  • Implement scalable billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes aligned with GAAP/IFRS.


5. Tax, Legal, Risk & Compliance Oversight

  • Support Legal strategy for commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and compliance.
  • Lead Corporate governance and risk management, including data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and maintain ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in equity allocations, vesting schedules, and cap table management.
  • Work closely with external counsel to manage Tax, M&A, IP protection, and international expansion risks.


6. Team Management & Communication

  • Day to day management of the G&A department 10+ people team, to date.
  • Support all initiatives related to hypergrowth plan and act as a daily business partner with all VPs.
  • Ensure top level of communication - not only on financials - with all third parties (banks, lawyers, etc.) involved in the business including LPs.
  • Provide expertise and strategic advice to the Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations teams.

  • 10+ years in finance leadership roles, with a track record of success in VC-backed SaaS, scale-ups, or high-growth tech environments.
  • SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, pricing strategies, and revenue operations.
  • Sales & GTM Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with CROs, Sales Ops, and RevOps to optimize sales efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Familiar with Salesforce, Spendesk, PowerBI/Dataviz tool, Pigment
  • Strong experience in investment strategies, fundraising, and capital management.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance, tax regulations, and corporate law.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience in overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and scale finance, legal, and operations teams.
  • Legal & Risk Acumen: Familiarity with enterprise contracts, compliance, and risk mitigation in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to financial operations.
  • A perfect understanding of the strategic issues and challenges of the Finance role as a whole for a company based in France with an international focus
  • Experience in international business expansion is a plus (including USA expansion, non EU expansion in general).
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Strong leadership skills to build, mentor, and scale Finance, Sales Ops, and Legal teams.
