Position Specific Description

In this role, you would directly impact our goal of aggressively growing renewable asset production. In this position, you will lead development projects in Colorado from beginning to end, overseeing cross-functional teams across the NextEra Energy Resources organization. You will be working with leadership within Development to drive origination and business development efforts that will directly impact NextEra Energy鈥檚 bottom line.
Beyond the requirements below, you will also be responsible for presenting your projects and updates to Development leadership and providing your input and expertise daily to Subject Matter Experts as a collaborative and dynamic team project leader. You will travel (50%) across our sites to gain expertise in the regional energy market, the project, and the local community. You will be able to dive into the process and progression of new and existing projects. We have the best team in the business and are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented, and intelligent leaders to join our team. This role is based in Juno Beach, FL.

Employees in this role assist in the development and execution of plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job coordinates allocation of resources, schedules, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position participates in all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
