Launched in Pune in 2023, Gofig is a mission-driven company and India's first organized platform solution focused on reducing waste from surplus and short-dated FMCG products.

Gofig aggregates good quality surplus, short-dated items from FMCG brands on the one hand and educates consumers and incentivises them to shop through attractive pricing and transparent information on the shelf life on the other. Founders:
Gofig is founded by Disha and Gaurav, two highly experienced and skilled professionals passionate about reducing waste and driving sustainability. Both of them have over 15+ years of corporate experience in senior management and leadership positions in India and abroad.
Role Summary:
The Operations Lead will be responsible for the company’s overall operations and logistics. This will involve setting up the processes along with the planning, scheduling and execution of the operational activities. The Operations Lead will also play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with partners such as the brands, vendors, logistics & other service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup necessary processes and ensure adherence
- Develop a robust quality control system for consistency, accuracy and reliability
- Manage the entire warehouse operations including shipment receipt, sorting, quality check, storage, picking, packing & order fulfillment
- Respond to customer queries, collate and share customer feedback
- Manage unsold inventory – donation, recycling & disposal
- Manage relationship with the brands, vendors, logistics & other service providers
- Prepare operations report for performance tracking and reporting
Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in operations, specifically related to store or warehouse
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification
- Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ready to take accountability and can-do attitude
