As a Process Technician at Swift, you will be a core team member, ushering our company to the next stage of development by helping operate and optimize our new research projects. You will specialize in running thin-film deposition tools to make sure the team maintains a high throughput and a reliable and scalable process. Working at an early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to get involved in many aspects of the company’s technical development and internal operations.
On a typical day, you will review experimental plans with Swift’s process engineers and scientists, execute these plans, document the experiments in detail, and share your results to other team members involved in the process. You will be responsible for documenting and reporting any observations made during operation, helping evaluate the data, and suggesting improvements to follow-up experiments. As you become familiar with our tools, your job will involve managing and communicating supply needs, workflows, results, and tool output. Maintaining organized, accurate records of the processes and recipes, communicating your work, and managing your time effectively are key parts of the job.
As an early hire, you will help craft Swift’s culture and technical direction. As our team grows, we’ll expect you to help mentor and set an example for new team members. You will find many opportunities to grow your own skills and capabilities, and we encourage you to take full advantage of them.
