About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Site Manager with a strong electrical background to oversee the operations and maintenance of our solar plant projects. You will ensure the smooth execution of all operational aspects, with a key focus on safety, and leading a team of technicians and contractors.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Promote a Zero Harm safety culture and ensure adherence to all site and business safety requirements.
- Oversee technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with WHSE standards and performance KPIs.
- Interface with clients, providing progress reports, work permits, and other required documentation.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage local subcontractors and site consumables in line with commercial contracts.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including safety procedures, manuals, and reports; ensure timely incident reporting and investigations.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance technical knowledge and ensure competency for safe work practices.
- Oversee operational and technical aspects of projects, ensuring delivery as per O&M Service Contracts and client expectations.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the role of Site Manager on operational site is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2 years in Operations and Maintenance experience of utility scale Solar or renewable projects (or transferrable experience)
- Safety management, including electrical risk management.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- HV experience (preferred)
- Experience and training in utility scale inverter technology (preferred)
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent; other technical training to be evaluated
- First Aid certificate
- LVR/CPR certificate (preferred)
- Electrical License for the relevant state (preferred)
- Working at Heights (preferred)
