Check out our job opening below:Impossible Foods is looking for a talented Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing team and help us scale for the future, in a fast-paced environment that’s growing rapidly. Our Accounting team is responsible for all aspects of the monthly close processes, financial and management reporting processes, financial systems, audits and supporting the business. The ideal individual is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment, well organized, detail oriented that has an analytical mindset while having the ability to learn and adapt to changes. The Senior Accounting Manager will work closely with business partners, including cross-functional teams.

You Will

  • Drive international accounting and finance transformation including centralization of accounting & compliance activities
  • Build out processes and documentation of international accounting policies and procedures
  • Drive strategic and cross functional projects to support internationally business growth
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all processes related to international accounting operations performed by third-party accounting firm
  • Be the primary contact for communication and collaboration on international processes and functional area inquiries and initiatives
  • Responsible for local statutory reporting and supporting international compliance requirements
  • Coordinate and manage monthly closing activities by verifying, and approving accurate journal entries including consolidations and foreign currency accounting for international entities and global operations
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for international entities ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Support audit deliverables and coordinate with auditors during consolidated and statutory audits
  • Drive flux analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts ensuring accuracy of accounting data
  • Work closely with FP&A team and department heads to review monthly budget to actuals variances
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system integrations to ensure accurate financial statements with strong control environment
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and management inquiries
  • Create local vendor management and payment flows.

You Have

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with experience in managing a team in a hyper growth technology environment
  • CPA (or international equivalent) required
  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Mix of private and public company experience
  • Superior analytical including advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
  • An aptitude for learning and managing ERP data structures and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail in a fast paced & rapidly changing environment
