This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.</div><h2>What we do: </h2>The IT Windows System Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Windows-based infrastructure, primarily focusing on web hosting and IIS. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of in-depth system administration experience, a keen interest in IT troubleshooting, and the capability to provide subject matter expertise in escalated support scenarios. As part of our team, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Windows-based services. <h2>What you can do:</h2><ul><li>Oversee the administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the smooth running and high availability of web services hosted on IIS. Address any performance bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities in collaboration with the web team</li></ul><ul><li>Administer user accounts, group policies, and organizational units. Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of the AD environment</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee the management, monitoring, and tuning of servers on the domain, ensuring optimized performance and security</li></ul><ul><li>Act as a subject matter expert, assisting the support team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues that are escalated. Provide insights and documentation to enhance support team knowledge</li></ul><ul><li>Recommend and implement changes to improve system performance, security, and scalability. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Windows systems and related technologies</li></ul><ul><li>Implement and maintain backup solutions.
