THE OPPORTUNITY and REQUIREMENTS

As a Recruiter at ACTUAL, you will be instrumental in building a diverse world-class team from the ground up. You will create a hiring process that treats every candidate with dignity and respect, and that implements best practices for enabling our company to scale. You will work closely with company leadership to proactively understand team needs, develop hiring plans and roadmaps, and then own the full recruiting lifecycle.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a track record of building Seed or Series A startup teams

• Will design recruiting and hiring processes that can be tailored to the needs for each search

• Can articulate job requirements clearly to improve candidate interest

• Is passionate about spending the time and effort needed to nurture a diverse and inclusive pipeline 

• Is comfortable with building long-term relationships and developing both active and passive candidates

• Is enthusiastic about outbound prospecting

• Can manage external recruiters and can work with them as an effective force multiplier
