Working remotely from your home office in Melbourne, The Senior/ NAM - QSR/Food Service is motivated and autonomous, fueled with their own opportunity to get in on the “ground floor”. Engaging in sales activities and managing state and national key accounts, managing distribution execution to drive new sales across the region, and deploying additional sales tactics and resources to increase sales. On top of your sales support activities, you will also need to help create customer/consumer engagement through activations to support Impossible Foods within the AUS marketplace. The role will report to the Senior Sales Manager ANZ (Based in Sydney) but you will be based in Melbourne, Victoria.

You Will:

  • Sales to new customers: You will be responsible for driving sales generation activities of Impossible Foods products in the AUS food service market, which are aligned with the global sales strategy defined by head office. You will lead and/or support sourcing, sales pitches, follow-ups, negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Manage & Grow accounts: You will be the key account manager for food service accounts. In some instances you will be the primary contact for accounts serving Impossible and responsible for supporting and growing their business.  For others you will coach the team to maximize sales. 
  • Manage food service distributors: Within your region manage the relationships, including training, sales material supply, and performance.
  • Manage people: Manage broker salesforce to attain sales targets.
  • Drive the Impossible movement: You will be the front line of Impossible’s mission including building passionate Impossible customers/ ambassadors via activations
  • Measure and communicate results: Across the above initiatives, you will be responsible for measuring and hitting key metrics and communicating performance to the Impossible Foods AUS and headquarters teams.

You Have:

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in sales
  • Interest and Knowledge of the Australian food culture and restaurant channel
  • A black book of connections at the ready
  • Mission driven with genuine interest and passion for Impossible Food’s mission
  • Clear, logical, strategic thinker with ability to align long term vision with today
  • Strong analytical skills with metrics based, results driven approach
  • Highly collaborative approach and strong communication skills (internally and externally)
  • Creative, blast through obstacles, do everything it takes to succeed approach
  • Driven by working in fast paced, dynamic, highly cross-functional environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Salesforce
  • Ability to travel in Australia and periodic travel out of market including United States

  • Preferred:
  • Food service and culinary experience, including experience selling to HoReCa operators and distributors in AUS
  • Experience growing a new brand in AUS market
