About The Role (What you will get to do)

As the Global Benefits Lead, you will be responsible for the management of Persefoni’s global benefits programs. You will be hands on with driving the implementation of the program, assisting employees with benefits enrollment and questions, handling all leaves (globally), managing insurance billing and audits, and the administration of various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision and retirement.

Responsibilities (What we expect)
  • In partnership with our benefits brokers, assist with the administration of various employee benefits programs such as group health, flexible spending and health saving accounts, dental, vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits
  • Administer all Disability/Leaves of Absences (globally), including meeting with employees, updating our HRIS and tracker
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve escalations for benefits inquiries
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits enrollment
  • Drive strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, communication, and administration of our US and global benefits programs in service of attracting and retaining top talent
  • Manage the US and international health and wellness and retirement plans
  • Oversee domestic and global vendor network including insurance brokerage, third party administrators and communication support
  • Lead/manage country specific benchmarking efforts to determine appropriate benefits plans and services in the regions we operate in (includes Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA)
  • Ensure programs are current with regard to trends, practices, and costs
  • Support HR M&A efforts to integrate our new employees into the Company with a focus on benefits programs
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations, program trends, and practices among similar organizations.
  • Work collaboratively with accounting, legal, and tax departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with all tax laws and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a working knowledge of international, federal, and state legislation influencing benefits and broader rewards efforts and implications
Qualifications (What you bring to the role)
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year, accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of rewards/benefits experience including some global benefits administration as well as leadership/ownership of a benefits program/s.
  • Expertise in the design, development, implementation, and administration of all types of health, welfare and retirement programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of international benefits practices.
  • Have both a strong curiosity to learn and a drive for continual improvement.
How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track
  • Within 25 days, you will be able to administer various employee benefits programs, and answer all employee benefit questions within 24 hours.
  • Within 50 days, employee records will be up-to-date in the HRIS, you will host benefits orientation and answer questions about US and global benefits enrollment, partnering with any vendors, brokers, and administrators.
  • Within 75 fifty days of joining you will assist in the planning, design, implementation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, communication, and administration of our US and global benefits programs.
Job Type:

 Full-time. Exempt/Non-Exempt. Remote. Salary based on experience and location.
