Please note: These reflect general core hours, start and end times will vary based on needs.YOUR IMPACT <ul><li>Ensure long-term, cost-effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.</li><li>Manage projects to minimize investment costs while providing facilities that operate with maximum efficiency (throughput, energy use, etc.).</li><li>Review, monitor, develop, modify, and maintain process control systems to maximize profitability.</li><li>Develop and maintain technical training documentation for the plant’s physical assets.</li><li>Apply hands-on experience to improve equipment reliability.</li><li>Implement solutions that support site operations and maintenance team objectives.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement by monitoring automation and control activities, benchmarking against best practices, and developing/implementing projects that improve efficiency and safety.</li><li>Demonstrate skills in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions, including PLC software, safety systems, HMI packages, SCADA systems, and PC networking technology.</li><li>Operate test equipment and analyze resulting data.</li><li>Serve as a technical resource supporting all processes throughout the facility.</li><li>Ensure equipment uptime through the timely and effective resolution of production equipment issues to meet customer service and line fill rate objectives.</li><li>Regular attendance is required.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with Internship or co-op experience with either controls or software development focus.</li><li>Must be available for 2nd shift hours</li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Hands on programming experience with PLC and industrial automation systems, particularly Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation platforms.</li><li>Experience with safety scanners, safety PLCs, and machine safety systems.</li><li>Experience programming, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial robotics, including FANUC 6 axis robots for painting applications and Yaskawa robots for welding applications.</li><li>Experience with robotic welding systems and automated manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with Ignition HMI for developing and supporting operator interfaces.</li><li>Experience using AutoCAD to develop and maintain electrical and controls schematics.</li><li>Familiarity with CREO for 3D modeling and Windchill for engineering file and document management.</li><li>Experience with industrial vision systems, including Keyence IV3 and IV4 systems.</li><li>Understanding of industrial network communications, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, and fieldbus technologies.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose controls, robotics, networking, and automated equipment issues in a production environment.</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONSThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
