Quality Management &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP) in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Metro and Railway standards (EN, IEC, AREMA, NFPA 130, etc.).</li><li>Develop, update, and control Project Quality Procedures (PQPs), ITPs, and Method Statements.</li></ul><div></div>B. Client &amp; Consultant Coordination<ul><li>Act as the primary interface with the Customer and Consultant for all quality-related matters.</li><li>Attend weekly and daily Quality/Progress meetings.</li><li>Respond professionally to NCRs, SORs, and Quality Observations.</li><li>Ensure effective follow‑up until closure of all consultant comments.</li></ul><div></div>C. Inspections &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare, submit, and follow up Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR) until approval.</li><li>Ensure all materials comply with contract technical specifications and approved submittals.</li><li>Supervise site inspections and verify contractor/subcontractor compliance.</li></ul><div></div>D. Punch List Management<ul><li>Lead punch list generation, distribution, tracking, and closure for all disciplines.</li><li>Coordinate with construction, testing, and commissioning teams to achieve timely handover.</li></ul><div></div>E. Testing &amp; Commissioning (T&amp;C) OversightStrong knowledge and involvement in Metro Testing &amp; Commissioning activities, including:<ul><li>PICO – Pre‑Installation Check-Out</li><li>SIT – Site Integration Tests</li><li>SAT – Site Acceptance Tests</li><li>Reviewing and approving testing procedures, test records, and ensuring compliance with railway safety and performance requirements.</li><li>Supporting system integration, signaling, telecom, power supply, SCADA, and rolling stock testing phases.</li><li>Documenting and verifying test results and ensuring readiness for Trial Run &amp; Final Acceptance.</li></ul><div></div>F. Quality Audits &amp; Performance Monitoring<ul><li>Plan and conduct internal quality audits on site and subcontractors.</li><li>Prepare monthly Quality Reports, KPI dashboards, NCR logs, MIR/WIR status, and testing progress.</li><li>Ensure continuous improvement and preventive actions across all project phases.</li></ul><div></div>G. Team Leadership<ul><li>Supervise Quality Engineers, Site Inspectors, and Document Controllers.</li><li>Provide training and awareness sessions on QMS requirements and inspection procedures.</li></ul><div></div>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related).</li><li>Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in Metro or Railway projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Metro systems, interfaces, and testing phases (PICO, SIT, SAT).</li><li>Excellent understanding of ISO 9001 and project QA/QC practices.</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills with Client and Consultant.</li><li>Experience in managing MIR/WIR cycles, NCR closure, and punch list systems.</li><li>Proficiency in document control systems and reporting (Excel, SharePoint, Aconex, etc.).</li><li>Must be currently residing in Alexandria.</li></ul><div></div>Personal Competencies<ul><li>Detail‑oriented with strong analytical mindset.</li></ul>Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project timelinesThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
