SUMMARY

Nexamp is a leading renewable energy company with a rapidly-expanding national footprint, focused on distributed-generation solar and battery storage projects as developer, EPC provider and asset manager.  We are seeking a Project Acquisitions Coordinator to join our Legal team and support ongoing operations and compliance for our acquired projects.  The position will primarily support our Channel Development team, which is responsible for Nexamp’s project acquisitions.  If you are a driven and enthusiastic professional who wants to be at the forefront of the clean energy revolution, we want you to join our dynamic team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Channel Development team in closing the acquisition of projects and administering projects through construction, financing and achieving commercial operation.
  • Organize and maintain internal data management and communication (including diligence trackers, closing, and financing checklists, etc.).
  • Prepare and coordinate execution of documentation for various project stakeholders to include lease notices, permitting documents as needed, counterparty communications, etc.
  • Coordinate with Nexamp’s Asset Management, Power Engineering and Accounts Payable teams to ensure post-closing contract and regulatory compliance.
  • Clearly communicate any commercial risks to Legal and Channel Development teams and senior management, as appropriate.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to develop and refine best practices for efficient transactions and post-closing oversight.
  • Participate in regular update meetings with both Legal and Channel Development staff.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commitment to Nexamp’s mission and a passion for solving tomorrow’s climate crisis today.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of project management or contract management in renewable energy industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills required.
  • Desire to expand skills to include (but not be limited to) legal support.
  • Comfortable learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and enthusiasm for pitching in and assisting where needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
